Company which  prioritise good practice in Health and Safety, and which values its staff.

They don’t employ many backpackers per station, but they have a huge number of stations across the country.

I’d recommend giving this a shot if you don’t mind being in a remote location and you want to save up to travel.

We worked at their Newcastle Waters Station. Worked 6 hour days for $130, light duties and got paid $130 a day. Accommodation was only $40 a week with three meals a day thrown in, so we saved a lot of money to travel with. They only take a couple of backpackers at a time but they’re a big company with a number of stations across Australia.

The station was remote so not much to do, although we got a few days off at a time to go to rodeos and campdrafts.
