The pay was fair as it varied depending on the yield, although I earned a lot less than award rates (about $15 an hour).
One of the most stressful situations of my life. No job security, they toss you aside when the fruit runs out with no regard that you have rent to pay – and 88 days to get done. Sometimes working 10/11 hour days. No understanding of what you are going through trying to get this work done.
On average I worked 6 days a week, on a long day (6-4) we got 2 breaks for about 10 minutes each.
to complete my actual 88 days of work it took 4 months (plus five weeks waiting for work)
