Not the cleanest!

2/ 5

Dorm rooms and small houses. Single beds at $165 a week. No pots/pans provided. Had to use small cool bags in a large walk in fridge. Not enough room for all. Wi-Fi hardly worked. Bathrooms disgusting. Had to buy own soap, shower certain, toilet cleaner etc. Had to buy new sheets as provided ones were disgusting. Stained. No air con.

Scam at best

Do not go here. You’ll struggle to get your 88 days (I know people who have taken 6 months to get 30 days there), the owner is a convicted drug dealer and the hygeine standards are bad enough you’ll likely contract diseases. After being treated badly by the workers and owner there and living in filth, we left after a week and lost our deposit.

Horrible Place, Horrible owners AVOID

do not go here if you are planning on getting your 88 days done, they will fill you false hope about how much work they have on, get you in, take your money ($210 a week plus $10 a day transport for even a 5 mins walk and you are not allowed to walk even if its close ) make you pay a bond then give you a few weeks work straight away if you are lucky then start slow decreasing your work, you have to go to aboard nightly and pray your name is on the list for work and no matter how reliable you are you can be taken off just like that! they randomly decide to leave town and demand rent early or no work for you, its dirty and there are bed bug galore, on top of this Vince the owner and his wife eva run the place and ignore you if you call regarding work you’re promised and generally avoid you once rent is paid, they also lie about start dates on work and claim things are in season for work when they are not. I.e asparagus jobs will start but the secretly know its not going ahead for 4-6 weeks. While i was there he was seen several times nearly fighting backpackers, threatening to burn the place down with everyone in it! the only good thing that comes out of that place is legit work if you can get it and good friends. one member staff called bob is lovely but he is old and should be in retirement, also if you get put on garlic thats the golden ticket but you are not allowed to talk during work hours and are referred to as a number. the manager Mark (big red face) hates backpackers and will put you on the naughty list if you even look at him. if you do decide this is still the place for you, be mindful not to tell them how many days you have completed as your work will slow down if they know you’re nearly finished. Good Luck!
