This employer is awful, do not go there! Overworked very under paid, chargers 200 bucks a week rent, take money out of your wages, only one trip per week to the town for an hour to buy your weekly shopping, of which you would spend half an hour at the bank cashing your cheques.
My first month on the farm was apple picking, then after that I was tree pruning, which was paid by a row at 50 dollars a row divided by two people, this row of trees could sometimes take up to 8 hours or two days work to finish. If the supervisors thought the trees were not fully picked you would have to spend another day going back over them which meant you wouldn’t get paid. Also the trees were most of the time way to high for you to reach but no supervisor would help you. When we first picked apples one of our apples bins ( first day) had bruised apples in so the farmer said he couldn’t sell them and took the money for the apples out of our wages.
